Mike Bierman’s TASC Force Teams serve food and drink to 900 attendees:

When Terri Rotman, AGM at BJ’s at the Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, Washington received a letter from a mom whose son, Cole, has cystic fibrosis, she invited them into the restaurant to discuss a fundraiser. Here is her report on the party that was arranged:

Here is Michelle Sands’ story about organizing a TASC Force team in San Antonio in tribute to her friend: I first learned of the Race for the Cure several years ago from a very special friend, however this is was my first opportunity to participate and make an impact in the fight against breast cancer. I have a personal connection in this fight- my best friend, Jan, was first diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago, I have been honored to be beside her in her fight.

With a number of holiday TASC Force events reported over the past few weeks, I’m pleased to finally share with you this outstanding example of community support as reported by SM Tim Sullivan of BJ’s in Addison. “The Christmas at Fair Park event was an astounding success. It was by far the largest event that the SM Wright Foundation, one that provides relief and hope to families in need in the South Dallas area, has organized.
