70 Roseville Team Members Race for the Cure
We were so pleased to represent BJ's at this year’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Every three minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S, and our team was there to help support the efforts to find a cure. This is what the race represents. The race is the fight to survive, and in this case, the struggle and fight to cross the finish line. The Race was held here in Sacramento at Cal Expo where thousands of supporters and companies came out. We were able to register around 70 team members from BJ's! We all met up at the designated purple balloons where we got our official team sign and took a team photo. After our picture, we had a great time conversing and getting ready for the 5k run. We took pictures, had fun, and felt great being part of such a great event. When the race started, we jetted out and saw people as far as the eye could see. We had a great time running and supporting each other to the finish line. Team work plays a huge role in our day to day lives inside the restaurant, and it was nice to see that on the race track as well. Everyone finished the race. And while not all at the same time, we all finished, and that was the most important thing.

Thank you again for letting us be part of such a great event! Scott Sweeney, Senior Manager, BJ’s Roseville.
