What is the difference between Call-Ahead Seating, Reservations, and Special Events?

We would love to host you and your group! Here are our 3 group dining options:

Call-Ahead Seating: For parties of 1-6, we offer Call-Ahead Seating, in which your name will be added to our waitlist. This can reduce your wait time when you arrive.

Reservations: For parties of 7-20, we offer Reservations depending on availability for the time you are looking for. Guests can enjoy items from our regular menu.

Special Events: If you are looking to host a group of 20 or more, we offer customizable buffet packages from our Special Events Menu. We do the setup, you just show up! Connect with your local BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse for more details.

How do I book a Special Event?

Please call your local BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and ask to speak with a manager. We look forward to assisting you with your party planning!

Do you have private dining space?

Many of our restaurants have semi-private areas that can accommodate a Special Event of up to 100 people. Please reach out to your local BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and ask to speak with a manager. We look forward to answering all of your questions!

How long will we have the event space?

In order to create an enjoyable dining experience for all of our guests, your Special Event is guaranteed for two hours of dining time. If you need special accommodations, please reach out to your local BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and discuss with a manager.

Do I need to sign a contract to book a Special Event?

Yes. Having a contract before your Special Event allows us to get all the details ahead of time so you can enjoy your event. One of our managers can walk you through our simple contract so you know exactly what to expect.

Do I need to include how many people are coming to my Special Event when I sign the contract?

Yes. We ask that you include your guest count on your contract so we can start planning out your seating. Three days prior to your Special Event, we will call you to confirm your guest count.

What if I need to increase or decrease my headcount less than three days from my Special Event?

Last-minute changes happen, and we are here to help! Contact the manager at your local BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and he or she will be happy to help you.

Is there a deposit required to book a Special Event?

No, there is no deposit needed to book your Special Event. Payment in full is due the day of your event.

When is payment due?

At the end of your Special Event, you will be presented with a final check outlining all of our services. We accept cash and credit cards as payment.

Is gratuity automatically included for the staff?

We do not add a service fee or gratuity to the final check. Gratuity is left to your discretion and can be added when signing the credit card receipt!

Can I bring in my own cake or wine?

Yes, where applicable. We do not add a cake cutting or wine corkage fee. Please mention what you will be bringing when booking your Special Event so we can be ready to serve you.

Can I bring in my own decorations?

Yes! We encourage you to make the space your own! Please mention when booking your Special Event so we can assist with setting up your space.
